About the project

To prepare arrests in organized, cross-border crime, prosecutors of EU-countries need to coordinate. Eurojust, headquartered in The Hague, functions as a platform for the 28 national prosecutors.

Working with Rogério Lira, Mapping Worlds created a new visual identity for the organization. With a new logo, a short-hand version to visualize the different countries that are involved in a specific case or news item (the ‘magnet logo’), a new corporate design and a new approach to present maps, emphasizing Europe as a single geography rather than national states (April 2019). Crime does not stop at a border.
